Omezzolli (Sna Valle d’Aosta): new obligations damage the relationship of trust with customers

AOSTA. The Valle d’Aosta section of the National Union of Insurance Agents adheres to the national strike day called for Tuesday 27 April.

“The protest – explains the president of the Aosta Valley section, Davide Omezzolli – arises following the introduction of new administrative provisions imposed on the category by the recent Provision n.97 / 2020 and by the Ivass Regulation n.45 / 2020. The new obligations contain unclear, inapplicable and in some cases even contradictory rules. These (umpteenth) new rules – he adds – have little to do with the protection of the “informed” consumer, but on the contrary they increase the bureaucracy without obtaining any concrete advantage for the policyholders “.

According to Omezzolli “the bureaucracy, redundant and exhausting, actually does nothing but harmfully interfere in the relationship of trust and transparency that binds insurance agents to their customers, especially in reality such as the one in the Aosta Valley, where the relationship between professional and customer is still fortunately great importance”.
