First, it completed the new democratic revolution by “surrounding the city from the countryside” through a long-term people’s war. This is the creative development of Marxism-Leninism by the Chinese Communists, and is a major theoretical contribution and practical experience. The victory of the Chinese revolution is a major historical event in the process of the Chinese people’s march toward national liberation, and it has also made important contributions to the victory of the world‘s anti-fascist struggle and world democracy and peace.

Specifically, under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, China’s productivity has developed rapidly, the economy has grown rapidly, social mobility has accelerated, and the process of poverty reduction has accelerated. If Mao Zedong applied the universal principles of Marxism to the Chinese revolution and achieved victory, then Deng Xiaoping opened up a path to building socialism with Chinese characteristics through reform and opening up.
Now, “After long-term efforts, socialism with Chinese characteristics has entered a new era. This is a new historical position for my country’s development.” General Secretary Xi Jinping said in the report of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China. The new generation of Chinese Communists has inherited the heroism, pioneering spirit, clear mind, originality and creativity of the founder of the Chinese Communist Party a hundred years ago.
China’s international role is the CCP’s important contribution to mankind
Today, the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, the world is going through a historical period full of uncertainty and instability, and threats to world peace abound. Superpowers attempt to strengthen hegemony, violate the sovereignty of other countries, and try to deprive people of the right to explore their own development paths and achieve social progress.
Under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, the People’s Republic of China has always been an important force in defending and promoting world peace. In September 1949, the “Common Program” adopted by the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference stipulated: “The principles of the foreign policy of the People’s Republic of China are to protect the country’s independence, freedom, and territorial integrity, and to support lasting international peace and friendship among peoples. Cooperate and oppose the imperialist policy of aggression and war.” The first constitution of New China promulgated in 1954 stipulated: “In international affairs, my country’s unswerving policy is to work for the lofty goals of world peace and human progress. “
As its strength increases, China has a decisive influence on the balance of power among world powers. China’s foreign policy played an active role in the anti-colonial and anti-imperialist struggle in the second half of the 20th century, inspiring the national liberation movement and supporting all people who love peace, freedom, and independence. Today, China continues to contribute to world peace, cooperation and development. As an emerging power, China is currently an important factor in balancing international forces, an important force for maintaining world peace, opposing hegemonism, defending national independence and development, and developing socialism. This is an important contribution of the Communist Party of China to the peace, development, well-being and prosperity of mankind, as well as an important contribution to the international communist movement.
