ORIO CANAVESE. He had a clandestine weapon in the house with the serial number abraded. For this reason Alberto Barbero, 52, was arrested by the carabinieri of the Novara operational department, after a thorough search. The military arrested him on the orders of the deputy prosecutor of Ivrea Daniele Iavarone. The provision has already been validated by the investigating judge Ombretta Vanini, in the presence of the man’s lawyer, Pio Coda. Now Barbero is under house arrest.
The weapon that the man had in his home is a 12-gauge shotgun, found together with about thirty cartridges. The cancellation of the registration number is considered an aggravating circumstance of particular importance in jurisprudence, because it is aimed at preventing the identification of the rifle and, therefore, of its owner.
Barbero is known in the village for being the owner of a grocery store where you can find a bit of everything, a bit like in the emporiums of the past. –
