Fighting for some time against a serious illness, the former magistrate Alberto Di Pisa died at the age of 78. In 1982, as deputy prosecutor, he had been part of the anti-mafia pool of Palermo; then, in spite of himself, he had been the protagonist of a story that marked the anti-mafia: ended up under investigation with the charge of being the author of the anonymous letters accusing Judge Falcone of having managed the repentant Contour in an unscrupulous way, he was then definitively acquitted.
