The circumstance that emerged in the city council: the municipal company would not have paid either Tosap or Tari
The Municipality of Palermo has seized 33 cars from Amat, the urban public transport company owned by the Municipality itself. Among these it seems that there are also 8 cars of the car sharing service. This is what emerged yesterday in the sixth council commission during the hearing of a member of the municipal advocacy office.
The committee discussed the blue stripes for which Amat would not pay Tari and Tosap. A long dispute is underway which has seen the company win in the first and second degree. The Municipality has appealed to the Supreme Court.
Last year, pending the ruling of the judiciary, the administration seized the 33 cars and the administrative detention was triggered. The discovery was made in recent days, so much so that a note has been circulated in the company saying not to use the cars because there is a risk of a fine (from 700 euros to 3,111 euros) to the driver and the confiscation of the vehicle. From the company they let it be known that they are trying to overcome this situation and make the cars that are used to carry out numerous control activities, replenishment of tickets in the various sales stations and checks in case of breakdown or accident of the cars again operational. Some controllers are now around in their personal cars to guarantee services.
