Panic attack on the via ferrata in Longarone

A woman who was unable to continue was rescued by the CNSAS

LONGARONE. Malaise and fear on the Ferrata della Memoria. Around 12.20 the Longarone Alpine Rescue was alerted by the Suem 118 Central, for a hiker who was no longer able to progress along the Ferrata della memoria, seized by malaise and fear. SP, 24, from Trieste, who was with her partner just above the initial ladder, was reached by five rescuers climbed from below. The girl was belayed, helped to abseil and guided back to the base, from where she was then escorted to the parking lot. No transport to the San Martino hospital was necessary.
