Pieve del Grappa, the German was wedged at 10 meters high, recovered with tree climbing techniques
PIEVE DEL GRAPPA. At around 1.30 pm on Friday 7 January 2022, the alarm went off for a pilot of a German paraglider crashed into the trees and remained suspended about 10 meters above the ground, in Val Corpon. The man, who had not suffered any consequences, was however stuck on dry plants. Having identified the sail, thehelicopter Treviso Emergency then landed its helicopter rescue technician and a team from the Pedemontana del Grappa Alpine Rescue nearby. Rescuers first took steps secure from below the pilot, who was collaborative, after which they “braced” the plants making them safe. One of them then climbed with tree climbing techniques and lowered the man to the ground.
