RT also drops – from 0.98 to 0.81 – although it is now not the main parameter taken into consideration by the experts of the Ministry of Health to certify the degree of risk of a region

UDINE. The progress of the pandemic in Friuli Venezia Giulia is still improving. The results of the monitoring of the ministry, in fact, certify a reduction in the spread of the infection as evidenced first and foremost by the incidence of cases per 100 thousand inhabitants which falls from the quota of 8.16 in the week between 14 and 20 June to that of 7.17 on period between 21 and 26.

A very low level, if we think that the white zone is triggered with a value of less than 50 cases per 100 thousand inhabitants for three weeks in a row, and which is added to the confirmation of the reduction in the number of infected people (-12.9%), at equal to that of active outbreaks (down from 49 to 43) and of new clusters (from 13 to 11). The RT also falls – from 0.98 to 0.81 – although it is now not the main parameter taken into consideration by the experts of the Ministry of Health to certify the degree of risk of a region, like the cases reported in the last 14 days.

Attention, however, because this figure officially reports a reduction of 628%, the result, however, as the Councilor for Health Riccardo Riccardi explains, of a “recalibration of regional databases” between infections and isolations which, to date, appear to be, correctly , much less than a few weeks ago.

Among the positive notes of the week – with Friuli Venezia Giulia which will remain in the white zone for the next seven days – there is also the decrease in the percentage of positive tampons on the total (from 1% to 0.8%) and of those in the territorial setting (from 1.3% to 8%), while that within hospitals is substantially stable and very limited (from 0.6% to 0.7%).

Meanwhile, on Thursday, as regards the pandemic, 14 new infections were detected out of 3 thousand 803 molecular swabs – of which five related to asylum seekers in the province of Trieste – with a positive percentage of 0.37%.

There are also 966 rapid antigenic tests carried out, from which a case was detected (percentage of positivity of 0.1%). It should be noted that over 50% of yesterday’s infected are in the 20-29 age group.

Overall, therefore, we are talking about 15 cases for an average rate of 0.31%. In addition, there were no deaths and there are no people admitted to intensive care, while there are eight patients in other departments.

The overall deaths amounted to 3,000 789, with the following territorial subdivision: 813 in Trieste, 2,000 12 in Udine, 671 in Pordenone and 293 in Gorizia. The totally healed are 102 thousand 957, the clinically recovered 19, while those in isolation are 184. Since the beginning of the pandemic in Friuli Venezia Giulia, a total of 106 thousand 957 people have been positive with the following territorial division: 21 thousand 131 in Trieste, 50 331 thousand in Udine, 21 thousand 64 in Pordenone, 13 thousand 46 in Gorizia and one thousand 385 residents of the region. Finally, no positive results were recorded among the staff of the regional health system or among the guests or the operators of residential structures for the elderly.
