In order to standardize the personal protection work of community nucleic acid sampling on-site assistants, prevent occupational exposure, and reduce the risk of epidemic transmission, the Beijing Center for Disease Control and Prevention has formulated personal protection guidelines for community nucleic acid sampling on-site assistants.

1. On-site support personnel refer to the personnel (social workers, security guards, volunteers, etc.) who are responsible for organizing mobilization, process guidance, order maintenance, comprehensive security, temperature measurement and code verification, and delivery of materials during community nucleic acid sampling. All personnel must be trained and qualified before taking up their posts. During work, medical protective masks (N95/KN95), isolation gowns and disposable rubber gloves should be worn in a standardized manner. After work, the protective equipment should be removed correctly.

2. Arrange working hours reasonably to avoid staff being on duty for a long time. Strictly regulate the wearing of protective equipment during the work period.

3. Staff are not allowed to eat at the sampling site, avoid taking off masks frequently, and do good hand hygiene in time after drinking water, and avoid touching the mouth, eyes, nose and other parts. When returning to work after eating, going to the toilet and other activities, they should replace new protective equipment and wear them properly.

9. During the working period, each team can set up an epidemic prevention specialist, who is responsible for patrolling and supervising the implementation of various epidemic prevention measures.

10. Staff should try their best to conduct “two points and one line” activities in the workplace and residence, and do not gather, have meals, or gather during work. (Beijing Daily client reporter Sun Leqi and Li Qiyao)
