NOVI LIGURE. Radical change to the Consortium of services to the person of Novese. After the cancellation of the old management body, the assembly of mayors yesterday afternoon at the Museo dei Campionissimi found itself in absolute agreement, electing both the new president, who will be Maria Gabriella Mazzarello, and the members of the board of directors that is now formed by Claudio Raffaghello, Silvia Picollo, Francesco Chiapuzzo and Barbara Girotto who will also hold the functions of vice president.
All very representative names of the territory, well-known and respected professionals for their long experience gained in their sector of activity. Maria Gabriella Mazzarello was voted unanimously. She boasts a very long professional curriculum: biologist, former employee of the San Giacomo hospital in Novi Ligure, from 2008 to 2017 she served as coordinator of the specialist allergy laboratory. Retired since 2018, she was also appointed to the Foral board of directors and devoted herself to politics. In the last municipal elections in Novi he supported the candidacy of the current mayor, Gian Paolo Cabella, in the ranks of Forza Italia. It will therefore be a BoD composed of people who have worked, except one, in the medical and legal sectors, being present, in addition to the president Mazzarello, the gynecologist Claudio Raffaello (also for him a political past as a municipal councilor of Novi), two lawyers (Picollo and Girotto) and a politician from Valborberino (Chiapuzzo), an employee of the Bundy company in Borghetto.
The CSP quarrel arose from the resignation of the vice president Domenico Saporito, of the directors Gianni Piazzale and Brunella Molinari, together with the director Marco Travasino and the secretary Pier Giorgio Cabella, all in controversy with the outgoing president Adriana Ferretti. «I am very happy with this Board of Directors – commented Saporito – to whom I wish a good job. Now also the returning Travasino and Cabella will contribute to the activity of the consortium with their technical contribution and their competence. There is certainly a lot of work to be done, we will have to resume collaborations with the other consortia in the province ». And certainly a good part of the work to be done will fall to the mayors. The first commitment to which they will be called will be the modification of the statute of the CSP, judged too old by the assembly itself.
