A technical problem, today 31 October, prevented the software from being updated at standard time. The parish priest, Monsignor Giuseppe Nadal, apologized to the community for the unscheduled “early rising”

PIEVE DI SOLIGO. The bells of the Cathedral of Pieve di Soligo strike again. It had already happened last May, when the ringing had woken up the town three times in the middle of the night. In that case, however, it was a matter of vandalism, the tampering of the system.

This time it was instead a technical problem that caused the bells to ring at 6.30 this morning, Sunday 31 October, instead of at 7.30. Understandable some grumbling from the parishioners, who have, however, guessed the “technological” reasons for the mishap, not linked to some sudden calamity. The problem was solved in the middle of the morning.

The parish priest, Monsignor Giuseppe Nadal, apologized for the unscheduled disturbance.
