Rescuers stopped for a second surgery by a man who could no longer continue due to leg pain

PIEVE. Tragedy on the road to Mount Tranego. Shortly before noon, the Alpine Rescue of Pieve di Cadore was alerted to intervene in support of the Bolzano helicopter rescue, for a man taken ill two returned below the summit at 1,700 meters above sea level, along the road he was traveling along with his wife and some friends, who immediately started giving him heart massage. Unfortunately, once the Pelikan medical staff arrived, it was only possible to ascertain the death of the man, a sixty-year-old from Pieve di Cadore (BL).
A team of the Alpine Rescue of Pieve di Cadore then went up with quads and sleds, and then accompanied first the wife and a friend to the valley and then the body of the hiker, entrusted to Pozzale to the hearse.
Before arriving in Pozzale, rescuers were stopped for a second operation under the Tranego: a hiker with pain in his leg was no longer able to continue. The Alpine Rescue of Centro Cadore intervened to help him.
