The Police captured Luz María Portales Chávez, who was captured on video while she was collecting “willas” that gang members threw from the windows of the Mariona prison.
The inmates threw bags containing orders to commit crimes at this woman.
According to the authorities, this woman will be referred to the Prosecutor’s Office to answer to justice for illegal groups.
After this fact, the Police Corporation carried out a search on Wednesday night in the Mariona penal center, with the objective of detecting illegal objects that are in the hands of the gang members.
The security protocols were executed to avoid any disturbance in the search, and the inmates were placed in order, with the aim of guaranteeing security while the prison officers reviewed each space in the cells.
They added that the cells are being sealed, to avoid any attempt to give orders to the outside to commit crimes against the population.
