There is the official date for the opening of the new Pontalpino Decathlon point.
The property has in fact indicated Friday 23 April to inaugurate the store that will complete the large redevelopment project of the former Comedil area which has now become a commercial center. As we know by now, the shop will be located in the building that once housed the Famila supermarket, now expanded and relocated by a few hundred meters. These days the last structural adjustment works are finishing, but for a few hours passing motorists can see the signs installed that indicate the next, imminent opening. The latest staff hires are also underway these days. Among the various benefits of the opening there are in fact also the repercussions on employment: the property, in the initial period, expects to employ about twenty people. All product categories confirmed, with a particular initial focus on the spring season for a total sales area of about 1500 square meters.
«We officially confirm the opening date of 23 April», says Massimo Zan, Decathlon development manager, «hoping that there are no particular restrictions such as the red zone in force in recent weeks which would obviously postpone everything. As already mentioned, this was one of the few provinces where we did not have our own sales point and we have good expectations, also because this is an area devoted to sports, especially as regards mountain activities. Consequently, we will be happy to serve new customers and the many sports enthusiasts of the entire province of Belluno. Among the novelties “, continues Zan,” there will be particular attention to the aspect of the “rent”, that is the rental of equipment for skiing during the winter season but also for bicycles, also with regard to the electric sector finding an ever-increasing number of fans. I want to specify that there have been no particular delays with respect to forecasts because it is our custom to open with the start of the new season, since among our products there is also clothing that follows the seasonal trend ».
Satisfaction on the part of the municipal administration which thus sees the end of the urban redevelopment project of the center between the new roundabout, commercial and large-scale distribution center, new station with rubber-rail parking, new poetry square near the library with attached tourist cycle information point . –
