Beginning on the evening of September 22, a number of listed companies have issued announcements stating that due to the shortage of power supply, in response to the local “dual control of energy consumption” requirements, the production lines of the company or its subsidiaries have temporarily suspended production. The affected areas this time mainly include Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Yunnan and other places. Local high-energy-consuming enterprises have stopped production. The resumption time is either at the end of September or undetermined. Even if it is set, it may change at any time.

It is reported that,A new round of power curtailment measures has been launched in many places, including two start-ups and five stoppages, 90% production restrictions, and thousands of companies stopping production and production restrictions. Enterprises that do not cooperate with power curtailment and shutdowns will also face compulsory authorities. Seized.

In August of this year, the National Development and Reform Commission issued the “Barometer of the Completion of the Dual Control Targets for Energy Consumption in Various Regions in the First Half of 2021”, and many provinces were listed as red first-level warnings, and the situation is very serious.

Among them, nine provinces, including Qinghai, Ningxia, Guangxi, Guangdong, Fujian, Xinjiang, Yunnan, Shaanxi, and Jiangsu, are listed as first-level warnings in terms of the progress goal of reducing energy intensity.

In terms of total energy consumption control targets, eight provinces including Qinghai, Ningxia, Guangxi, Guangdong, Fujian, Yunnan, Jiangsu, and Hubei are listed as red.

It is worth mentioning that the Guangdong Provincial Energy Bureau and Guangdong Power Grid Co., Ltd. today jointly issued the “Proposal for Orderly Use of Electricity and Conservation of Electricity in the Province”.

Proposal requirements,Party and government agencies and institutions at all levels in the province take the lead in practicing green and energy-saving office. The refrigeration temperature of air-conditioning is set to no less than 26 ℃. The doors and windows are kept closed during air-conditioning operation. The elevator shall not be used on the 3rd floor and below.

At the same time, it is recommended that the province’s industrial and commercial enterprises actively participate in power saving and support the implementation of orderly power use.

As a typical temperature-sensitive area, Guangdong is between 31-37 ℃, and every degree of temperature rise will increase the power load by 2 to 3 million kilowatts.

At present, it is the peak period of the “Golden Nine and Silver Ten” orders, especially the continued strong demand for power consumption in the secondary and tertiary industries.

From January to August, the electricity consumption of the whole society in Guangdong was 525.273 billion kWh, a year-on-year increase of 17.33%, of which the electricity consumption of the secondary and tertiary industries increased by 18.30% and 23.13% respectively.

Affected by factors such as primary energy supply, fuel prices, and defects in long-term peak power generation equipment of units, the power generation capacity of units in Guangdong Province is limited, and the current power supply situation is tight.

Currently,All cities in Guangdong province have launched an orderly power utilization plan, and many industrial enterprises in the province “start three and stop four” or even “start two and stop five” staggered peak power consumption.
