TREVISO. Surprises stealing from an apartment: two Roma girls arrested. One, SM, has 19 years old and pregnant, the other, MS, 16.
On the morning of September 28, the number of the police station received a call from a resident of the city center.
At about 11.30, the request for intervention by the police for a theft in an apartment in the center of Treviso.
A resident, on returning home, crossed paths on the landing a young woman standing in the doorway of the apartment.
He immediately realized what was happening and so he ordered the young woman to leave the doora, but just then a second girl came out of the apartment who, violently pushing the man, she managed to run away, taking her accomplice with her.
In a few minutes two flying cars arrived on the spot, blocking the two thieves while they were trying to escape with their newly stolen jewels still on.
The two girls meanwhile had also pushed the victim’s 80-year-old father.
They had numerous with them jewels and two large screwdrivers used by the two to force the front door.
They were taken to the Police Headquarters for the ritual investigations also aimed at establishing their own real identity, both were undocumented.
While for one it was necessary to undergo a medical examination in order to establish her age being unknown to the police, the accomplice is found to be the recipient of another prison order issued by the Prosecutor’s Office of Trieste for various thefts at home committed between Gorizia and Udine.
Established the minor age of one and found the interesting state of the other, the girls were arrested on charges of aggravated robbery, personal injury and unjustified possession of keys and lockpicks; the judicial authority validated the arrest.
The minor was entrusted to the first reception center of Treviso while the adult is now in prison on the Giudecca in Venice.
Investigations are underway by the Mobile Squad of the Treviso Police Headquarters in order to ascertain any involvement of the two in other thefts in the city.
The Crime Division of the Treviso Police Headquarters has already started the procedure aimed at issuing an obligatory roadmap to an adult by the Municipality of Treviso.
