A first preview of the is now available Azure Arc Site Manager available. Site Manager is designed to meet the needs of customers who want to manage solutions in the adaptive cloud and view and monitor their resources by their physical locations such as stores and factories. Within Site Manager, you can create Arc Sites to represent your on-premises environments and see centralized monitoring information about your edge infrastructure.

Get started with Azure Arc Site Manager

You can get started by navigating to the Site Manager in Azure Arc. Sites can be created in a resource group or subscription, and Site Manager currently supports Azure Stack HCI, Azure Arc-enabled Servers & VMs, Azure Arc-enabled Kubernetes, and Azure IoT Operations Assets. After a site is created, all supported resources automatically appear within the site.

Monitoring functions

After the site is created, you can view aggregated connectivity, alerts, and updates for the site. Connectivity reports are automatically updated for all supported resources, update status via Azure Update Manager, and alerts via Azure Monitor. Additionally, each Arc site has its own page for more detailed troubleshooting and remediation.

Site Manager is currently in public preview and the following features will be available soon:

The ability to create sites on a subset of resources across multiple resource groups and/or subscriptions. Support for additional resource types, including Arc-enabled SQL Server, Arc-enabled VMware vSphere, and some cloud resources. Extension to security and health monitoring
