Pleasure in places that are as unusual as they are fantastic: the three top chefs convince with this concept, and together with the Steyr Tourist Association and the National Park Region for the second time this year. “Tavolata” is the name of this special culinary festival, which, after last year’s successful premiere, has even been expanded this year to include 14 programs over eight days over two weekends.
“The best chefs in the region invite you to enjoy the most beautiful places in pop-up style,” says Tourism Managing Director, who takes care of the organizational matters together: “With the new junior variant, we are also offering our culinary delights for the first time -Young talent an exciting platform.”
At the “take-off” in the design studio and in the historic kuk steam power plant in the Wehrgraben, more than 100 guests were not only enthusiastic about the ambience, but above all about the culinary surprises of the three top chef friends. With their team, they conjured up very special experiences in the hearts of connoisseurs, from the finest soup to cooked salad, asparagus variations and lobster rolls to the newly interpreted roast pork.
The “Tavolata” festival will be continued, which will also be making a guest appearance today and tomorrow with a different program in the Kühberger & Haas design studio, offering Roas delicacies on both days in Schlierbach and tempting with special pizzas on Saturday in Maria Neustift next weekend . The culinary evening with a 4-toque chef in the Hertl.Architekten garden house and the charity event with the barbecue world champion in the Lions’ Quenghof are already fully booked, but there are still tickets left for the other enjoyable experiences planned until Sunday.
