The ranking is defined by the average of the scores achieved in 12 indicators relating to the female world in its many facets: life expectancy at birth; the employment rate of women and youth employment; the gender employment gap; the rate of non-participation in work; the pay gap between men and women; the number of female businesses; female directors, both in companies and in municipalities; sexual violence; performance in sport; Olympic performance.
