Rai, next week decisive for the renewal of the top management

The election of the internal representative of Rai and the shareholders’ meeting for the approval of the financial statements, the final act of the current management, should be held in the window of 7-14 June. According to what is learned, the board of directors has given a mandate to the president Marcello Foa to move in this direction with the Ministry of the Treasury, shareholder of public television. Carrying out the procedures in the first week of June, even in light of the June 2 holiday, appeared complex. It is probable, in fact, that two calls for elections will be required, with an interval of three days, due to the need to reach the quorum of half plus one of the voters. The assembly will also be fixed as usual on two dates, on first and second call.
