Rents ban ruling, Adu: stop the institutional racism of the League and scoundrel autonomy

by admin

The political movement after the decision of the Court of Turin on the Valle d’Aosta tender calls for the intervention of the Court of Auditors

The decision of the Court of Turin against the call for lease support published by the Region in 2018 “It is a stop to the institutional racism of the League, but also to a certain autonomism scoundrel.” Thus, in a note, Adu VdA intervenes.

“The Court was clear: autonomy must be exercised within the limits of the law of the State and of the European and constitutional principles of equality and non-discrimination,” says the movement. «Once again justice is done only thanks to the activism of the citizens, whom we thank, and the intervention of the judiciary. Again, an ideologically distorted and arrogant vision of autonomy, promoted by the Northern League and suffered by UV and satellites, is brought back by the State to the principles of the Republic, ”adds Adu.

«Now we hope that the Regional Council will immediately execute the ordinance and inform the applicants, who had been excluded, of the possibility of re-applying. Lastly – the note still reads -, we urge the Council to also modify the last call in force, approved with DGR 315/2020, given that it continues to maintain the illegitimate requirement of 4-year residency in Valle d’Aosta, discriminatory both for Italians and, above all, for foreigners ».

Finally, Adu points the finger at the directors who did not vote in 2019 a motion to modify the ban. “These 32 councilors are now responsible for the useless outlay for the lawyers, the reimbursement of the 15,000 euros of legal fees incurred by the ASGI, the additional expense to cover the renewal of the call (to be supported only with regional funds) and the inconvenience created for citizens. An accounting damage on which we hope the intervention of the Court of Auditors ».
