Road accidents, collision between cars and motoape in Castelvetrano: one dead

TRAPANI – Fatal accident, this morning, at the intersection between the provincial road 56 and the branch of the SP81, in the territory of Castelvetrano. The victim is called Mercurio Unitario, 69 years old, from Castelvetrano and resident in Marinella di Selinunte. The elderly man aboard a motoape was traveling along the SP56 towards Campobello di Mazara when he collided with a Ford Fiesta, with a family of Trabia on board 5 who were traveling the SP81. The conditions of the motoape driver immediately appeared serious. Transported to the emergency room of the “Vittorio Emanuele II” hospital in Castelvetrano, the man died soon after.
