UDINE. On the evening of Saturday 22 May, the agents of the State Police of the Crime Prevention Department of Milan, who assist those of the Udine Police Headquarters in the territorial control services aimed at contrasting the phenomenon of illegal immigration, arrested two sixteen-year-old Italians, residing in province, for robbery in competition.

Shortly after 6 pm, while checking some foreigners sitting outside a bar near the city bus station, the policemen, recalled by some screams, noticed two young men who were attacking a third party nearby, hitting him in the face and throwing him to the ground, to then hit him again with kicks and punches; noticing the agents who immediately rushed to block them, the two tried in vain to escape by taking the underpass leading to the railway station, where they were finally stopped. They had stolen a valuable Iphone phone from the other 18-year-old boy, which was then recovered and returned to the owner.

Conducted to the Police Headquarters for the continuation of the investigations, considering the violence committed by both against the victim, even when he was lying helpless on the ground, and the recidivism of one of the two, responsible a few days before the same crime, the agents proceeded to their arrest for robbery in competition. Yesterday, May 26, after the validation of the arrests, the GIP ordered for both the precautionary needs and the conditions, the precautionary measure of placement in the community.
