Salary increase coming for the municipal councilors of Rome. In the Campidoglio enough attendance fees: the allowance arrives that brings the monthly income from the current 2 thousand euros to 3 thousand euros per month. The first ok to the resolution arrived in the commission, on Tuesday the measure will arrive in the Chamber. An act signed by the majority and by the whole center-right that has seen, however, not a few controversies with some opposition parties and also a councilor of the Civic list of the Mayor Roberto Gualtieri who expressed the opposite opinion because the time for the green light would be the “wrong” one.
The approved resolution
In reality the classroom has brought home a few resolutions of the council initiative. From November to today, only 9 have been approved, of which 3 “ex officio”, hence the establishment of the commissions. The text voted on in the commission is a resolution implementing legislative decree 156/2010 in which the Ministry of the Interior is given a mandate to issue a ministerial decree for the indemnity of the councilors of the Capitoline assembly. Compensation commensurate to 45% of that of the mayor, therefore for the directors it would reach over 3 thousand euros, compared to the 2 thousand that today they reach with the attendance fee.
