On this day, the Sacheon Marine Police Station in Gyeongsangnam-do dispatched a coastal rescue boat from the Namhae Police Station to the scene of the accident after receiving a report that “a drowning person has occurred.”

The Sacheon Coast Guard arrived at the scene and found a drowning person, Mr. A (53), floating in the sea and rescued him. On this day, Mr. A was reported to have lost his footing while boarding a ship at anchor and fell into the sea.
