A colony of felines has grown up in Salerano in some houses behind the town hall. The cats, wild with non-sterilized females and consequently having at least two litters a year, are creating problems of public hygiene, due to the manure.

The municipal administration therefore decided to intervene by calling for help the experts of the Eporedia animal association, with which it has an agreement to keep the phenomenon of stray animals under control: “Since last Tuesday – explains the mayor Tea Enrico – we have begun to capture the cats with cages.
