The Carabinieri of the Radiomobile Section of the Salerno Company have executed a precautionary custody order in prison against a 36-year-old Romanian NAM already known to the police, residing in Salerno. The activity of the Carabinieri begins at the end of January this year, when a call out of 112 warns of a woman with evident injuries and bruises on the landing of an apartment building. The immediate intervention leads to the discovery of a 27-year-old Ukrainian who is taken to the Ruggi d’Aragona Emergency Department for the necessary treatment. The woman has evident injuries caused by a third person, for which the military immediately try to obtain information.
The woman does not initially intend to confide, but the operators still activate the so-called procedure. “Red Code” to protect the woman, in an evident state of confusion due to the trauma suffered. The continuation of the investigative activity and the proximity of the Carabinieri finally lead the woman to confide that she was segregated for four days, savagely beaten and forced to have numerous sexual relations. But that’s not all: the woman also trusts that she is aware of at least one other victim of her jailer.
The military also tracked down this woman, a 41-year-old Ukrainian, who confesses to having undergone the same treatment for five days in August 2020. The elements collected allowed the Carabinieri to protect the victims and to request a precautionary measure from the Judicial Authority to prevent the subject to be able to harm further. The Romanian was identified yesterday morning in Piazza San Francesco and was taken to the Salerno prison. Since this is particularly violent and unscrupulous conduct, it is not excluded that other women may have been its victims over time, which is why the Carabinieri invite you to go immediately to the Radiomobile Section of the Salerno Company.
