He risked not reaching the quorum but, with 41.74% (1,979 voters) turnout, in the end Alberto Graffino, 42, employed in services and consultancy related to the real estate world, became mayor of San Benigno . The valid votes for him are 1,777. Graffino remained with bated breath until late Sunday evening when the closing of the polls essentially gave him the tricolor band even if for the formalization it was necessary to count the ballots on Monday afternoon to verify that at least half were votes valid.
