Savt FP proclaims the state of agitation of the Foresters

The union asks the Region for answers on social security benefits and staff

The Savt FP declared the state of agitation of the Forestry Corps of the Aosta Valley to “obtain satisfaction with respect to the just demands of the workers”. Among these is “the extension to the employees of the Forestry Corps of the Aosta Valley of the social security benefits reserved for the national security sector”.

The requests presented in the Region, says the Savt Fp, “have not been successful and unfortunately, after almost three years, the situation has further worsened, to the point that the current staffing, as we have found, could compromise the punctual supervision of the territory to the detriment of the service rendered to date ».

The union explains that “the interlocutions with the presidents of the Region and with the councilors, which have followed one another in the recent period, have not produced any results and the salary alignment to the civilian police forces, despite the formal commitments undertaken, is still completely disregarded ». Now it is “necessary to review, with absolute urgency, the reference law and the regulation of the sector, as they are no longer suited to the current situation of the Corps”. But, concludes the Savt FP, “unlike in the past, we will not be satisfied with the generic commitments that will be made during the negotiation procedure that will start shortly”. The union is already ready for “further forms of protest”.
