In 1978, Ningxia’s first wine grape was planted in Ningxia Nongken Yuquanying Farm. In 1984, Ningxia’s first bottle of wine was made in Ningxia Nongken Xixiawang Winery. After years of development, Ningxia Land Reclamation has built 61,100 acres of grape bases centered on Yuquanying and Huangyangtan at the foot of Helan Mountain. With a wine production capacity of 45,000 tons per year, it has the largest Yuquanying grape seedling breeding center on the eastern foot of Helan Mountain. Through investment promotion, 14 individual wineries including Hennessy Xiatong have been built in the farming area, with a production capacity of 15,000 tons per year.

In recent years, Ningxia Agricultural Reclamation Group has adhered to the development of the entire industry chain in accordance with the overall deployment of the autonomous region’s industrial development. Recently, with the help of the hit effect of the TV series “Mountain and Sea”, the development of the wine culture and tourism industry is in a good situation by building a mountain and sea building, launching a mountain and sea rice and a mountain and sea wine. By advancing the reform of the sales-end operating mechanism, five mixed marketing companies were established in Zhejiang, Fujian and other places last year, with products spreading to more than 50 large and medium-sized cities across the country, wine sales increased by 32.1%, and operating income increased by 73.9%.

Ningxia Nongken Yuquanying Grape Seedlings Co., Ltd. is the only “Ningxia Grape Seedling Engineering Technology Research Center” certified by the Autonomous Region Science and Technology Department. , Grape seedling large-scale production center, non-toxic seedling certification center and grape seedling scientific research innovation platform integrating germplasm resources. The center can breed 20 million high-quality non-toxic grape seedlings and 300,000 tissue-cultured virus-free seedlings each year, including 31 varieties of non-toxic grape seedlings, 22 varieties, 30 lines, and 43 lines of tissue-cultured virus-free seedlings. The breeding volume accounts for 70% of the total grape seedlings in the region. Over the past few years, nearly 200 million grape seedlings have been successfully cultivated. In addition to meeting the needs of the reclamation area and some wineries in the region, it is also exported to Beijing, Henan, Shaanxi, Inner Mongolia, Yunnan, etc. land.

During the “14th Five-Year Plan” period, Ningxia Agricultural Reclamation Group will follow the overall development of the grape industry in the autonomous region and rely on the 10,000-mu grape base in the reclamation area to integrate all wineries and wineries related to the wine industry within the Yuquanying Farm and Huangyangtan Farms. , Vineyards, characteristic towns, and tourist attractions are connected into one picture, creating a half-hour Yinchuan economic circle, ecological circle, wine cultural circle, leisure tourism circle, and sightseeing holiday circle.
