The opposition abstains, from the majority Erika Guichardaz and Minelli their position on the expansion of Parini

By a majority, with the abstention of the opposition groups, the Valle d’Aosta Regional Council today approved the draft laws on the second budget settlement and on the provisions related to the settlement. Nine amendments were approved.

The president of the II Commission Antonino Malacrinò (PCP) summarized the contents of the measures. The second adjustment of the budget “provides for the application of the free surplus which amounts to 72 million euros. Of these, about 16 are destined for the Municipalities for current expenses and investments ». The rapporteur emphasized the provisions “in favor of families, the elderly and the disabled. In particular, 3 million 470 thousand euros have been allocated to managers and families for early childhood services. There is also an allocation of 450 thousand euros for the removal of architectural barriers and the purchase of aids also for private use, as well as a greater charge of 400 thousand euros for contributions to families for the payment of fees in social and health facilities. Contributions are also envisaged for 300 thousand euros aimed at the social inclusion of people with socio-economic fragility, 335 thousand euros for the purchase of assistance services always in favor of families, 487 thousand euros for the rent notice, 4 million 520 thousand euro for school building interventions. We believe – added Malacrinò – that this new rule, after the interventions implemented with the first adjustment, can contribute to giving confidence and hope to our community. “

On the provisions related to the settlement, the representative of the majority indicated the “need to adapt regional regulations to changes introduced by state regulations. Among others, the minimum percentage of personnel who lend activities in an agile mode is reduced; an increase in the number of rooms is foreseen in the open-air receptive complexes, keeping the maximum admissible surface unchanged; the role of administrative director of the Office régional du tourisme is introduced; Contributions in the field of agriculture are arranged for companies in the regional territory for the organization and participation in fairs and reviews ». Again Malacrinò explained: «it is envisaged that local authorities can transfer their assets to the Usl Company; the provisions regarding the prevention of pathological gambling have been modified in order to draw on specific funds to contrast the phenomenon; the amounts of the contracts are updated to allow an easier execution of the fishing consortium procedures. “

For the minority, Mauro Baccega (Pour l’Autonomie) expressed support for the measures for families and different categories, but not “on other aspects that only aimed at amplifying the debate”. For this reason, the vote was one of abstention.

Finally, the distinction of the PCP group leader Erika Guichardaz arrived from the majority to reiterate “my opposition and that of my colleague Minelli to the Parini expansion project and the further restructuring of the former Mauritian without an in-depth analysis that clarifies the problems highlighted during the hearings in the fifth commission “.
