BELLUNO.Rudolph Selenati e Giovanni Busato confirmed at the top of the Alpine and Speleological Rescue Veneto. The elections for the renewal of the office of president and vice-president of the Association took place last Saturday, by videoconference during the regional assembly which brings together all the heads and deputy heads of the stations of the regional service twice a year. As a sign of continuity, the president Rodolfo Selenati, belonging to the Alpine Rescue of Feltre, and the vice president Giovanni Busato, of the Alpine Rescue of Arsiero were re-elected.

“I express my warmest congratulations to the president Rodolfo Selenati and the vice president Giovanni Busato for reconfirming the leadership of an organization that is an excellence of our Veneto as a fundamental and efficient link of safety and assistance to those who are attracted by the sport, hiking and climbing in our mountains “, comments the president of the Region, Luca Zaia.

Among the objectives of this three-year period 22/24, the president and vice-president intend to carry out the activities underlying the institution, such as training and prevention. In particular, by strengthening the prevention project “A mountain of safety”, aimed at both adults and the youngest, with the intention of bringing it into schools as soon as possible and implementing the dissemination of information material and didactic moments. The board then intends to continue strengthening training among its volunteers, also with a view to their own safety during the interventions, thanks to the commitment of the various schools present within the Corps, relating to every operational area, both technical and health.

A job and a commitment, theirs, which has no equal and which, unfortunately, has also seen some human losses within the volunteers, who should be remembered as real guardian angels “.
