BOLOGNA – The police arrested a 30-year-old who is accused of the crime of sexual violence against a 12-year-old schoolmate of his daughter. The episode took place in the Pilastro district on the outskirts of Bologna, on Saturday afternoon. According to the reconstruction of the police, the man – the father of a girl of the same age who was seeing the victim – abused the young woman in her home a few days ago. When the 12-year-old told her father about the violence she had suffered, he gathered around thirty family members and went to the rapist’s house to take revenge.
After asking him about what happened, the group of people dragged him out of his apartment to beat him in the street with kicks and punches. Some residents then called the 113 operations center to report the brawl. In addition to the patrols, the 118 arrived on the spot and rescued the 30-year-old who ended up in hospital. The 12-year-old was also accompanied for health checks.
The 30-year-old, who admitted what had happened by reporting that the victim was consenting, was subjected to police arrest, and today the validation hearing will take place in front of the judge called to decide the confirmation of the arrest. The police, who are still investigating the incident, have requisitioned the cell phones of the man and the girl. The 30-year-old’s family left the city for fear of further repercussions. The man, who “calls himself a father boy”, has another similar precedent against him. So much so that he had only recently moved to Bologna from the city where he had already abused a girl (that procedure is still ongoing).
