UDINE. The investigations of the Flying Squad continue on a case in which the crime of group sexual violence is hypothesized in relation to events that would have occurred in Lignano Sabbiadoro between the afternoon and the evening of Tuesday 10 August.
Five young people aged 17 to 21, on vacation in the seaside resort, were investigated and their mobile phones were seized: chats and video and photo content are being examined by the Udine Mobile Team.
Together with the smartphones, the investigators of the forensics took personal effects from the apartment where the violence would have taken place. It is from the instant messaging that it is hoped to obtain useful elements: the investigators intend to verify whether in the conversations, in the photos and in the videos there are references to what happened at home. The violence allegedly took place on 10 August. The girl would have confided everything to her parents: the story that prompted her father had to go to the apartment indicated by the girl and even break down the door, since no one answered.
At that point the neighbors alerted the police. For the moment, no precautionary measures have been suggested; the State Prosecutor’s Office intends to first examine the matter in all its aspects and accurately reconstruct the dynamics of the facts. In this sense, a first report by the Mobile Squad is on the table of the prosecutors of the Friulian and juvenile prosecutors of Trieste, being one of the protagonists a 17 year old. The magistrates should soon ask that the suspects be subjected to a swab to extract the DNA, to be compared with traces found in the apartment.
