The complaint and the subsequent investigation started on August 14, but the arrest in flagrant crime took place on Thursday, after the carabinieri stationed themselves in the station in Spresiano and set the trap for the two young people, BMW, resident in France. but born in Conegliano, and ES born in Gambia, also resident in Conegliano. Yesterday after the direct route, the arrest was validated and the first remained in prison, the second returned to freedom. But the accomplices could be four involved in various capacities.
On August 14, a 39-year-old craftsman from the country made an appointment in Villorba with a girl he met on an online dating site, who had told him she was 18, her name was Laura, and to attend the last year of tourism in Treviso.
In the afternoon they went to eat an ice cream in Spresiano, and then they got into the car to get away. The 39-year-old, however, soon realized that the girl wanted money and that she was a call girl, and he would not have sex with it, according to him. But by then, the two twenty-year-olds had already appeared behind the car. The man was first taken by the neck, then he got a punch in the face: the two, perhaps three, stole his wallet with 800 euros inside.
After a few days, however, the messages on the mobile phone from various numbers began: threatening messages, in which money was asked from the craftsman. If he hadn’t given in, a video of him with the child in intimate attitudes would have been released and given to the police. A full blown extortion. In the messages, the criminals first asked for 5,000 euros, then 2,000 euros, in various installments.
The 39-year-old filed a complaint for robbery and then integrated it with the one for extortion. The police have set up a trap for the extortionists, complete with marked money. The craftsman has agreed to give 500 euros to the band at the Spresiano station in the afternoon, another 2 thousand in the Conegliano station in the evening.
But in Spresiano, he presented himself with the carabinieri, who arrested the two. Through the cell phone numbers with which the messages were sent, it was also possible to identify another of the subjects who had participated in the robbery of 14 August. The craftsman recognized through the photos one of the two, identified but not yet arrested.
