She now revealed that the disease spread to her brain and talked about the fear she feels.
The actress was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2015 and through social networks has shown details of the treatments to which she was subjected, as well as the moment in which she decided to shave her hair due to chemotherapy. In 2020, she indicated that she was fighting stage 4 cancer, this after sharing that she had gone into remission.
“Is everything nice? No, but it’s true and my hope by sharing it is that we all become more aware, more familiar with what cancer looks like (…) I had a mastectomy and went through chemo and radiation. I had a lot of nosebleeds from the chemo. I’m not sure if they’ve ever been through this.”wrote the actress on her Instagram account.
