Zhongxin Finance, January 29. On the 29th, the Shenzhen Municipal Bureau of Statistics announced the economic operation of Shenzhen in 2021. In 2021, the city’s GDP will be 3,066.485 billion yuan, an increase of 6.7% over the previous year, and the per capita disposable income of residents will be 70,847 yuan, a nominal increase of 9.2%.
Data show that in 2021, the added value of industries above designated size in Shenzhen will increase by 4.7% over the previous year. Over 80% of industrial sectors achieved positive growth. The output of major high-tech products grew rapidly, among which, new energy vehicles increased by 173.9%.
The total retail sales of consumer goods in Shenzhen was 949.812 billion yuan, an increase of 9.6% over the previous year. Consumption-upgraded commodities grew rapidly, and gold, silver, and jewelry of units above designated size increased by 55.2%.
