Concern in Rocca Pietore and Agordo where a sign has been punctured along the road that leads to the Framont mountain hut. Probably this is a stunt
ROCCA PIETORE.
Road signs riddled with gunshots. Someone is wandering around with a weapon in the streets of Agordino. In particular in Rocca Pietore and Agordo.
Victims were two road signs, a “stop” sign at the Pezzè-Sorarù junction in Rocca and a “no-passing” in the hamlet of Don, in the municipality of Agordo, along the road that leads to the Framont mountain hut. Yesterday morning the carabinieri of Caprile, warned by some residents of Rocca Pietore, were warned of the gunshots, distinctly warned shortly after 20 on Friday by some people.
Shoot in the night
The bullets hit a road sign at the Pezzè-Sorarù junction, which has two large dents. In this case the bullets did not cross the signal.
Also in Agordo
The situation in Agordo was quite different, where the no-transit sign placed along the road leading to the Framont mountain hut, in the Don hamlet, appeared to be pierced from side to side yesterday afternoon in three points. The largest hole is about the size of a finger, admits those who have observed the sign closely.
For this case, no reports were made to the police: the road is in an isolated area and it is likely that no one has heard the shots.
Inspection of the carabinieri
Yesterday the carabinieri of Caprile made an inspection at the gates of Rocca Pietore, on the basis of some reports received from citizens, worried about the gunshots that they felt very close to the houses. He leans towards a stunt, there are no open investigations.
Mayor
Also because in that area there are no video surveillance cameras, as explained by the mayor of Rocca Pietore, Andrea De Bernardin: “I also believe that this is a stunt,” says the mayor. “The caliber looks small.” Probably a pistol, or at least a small-caliber weapon, to see the holes created in the traffic sign.
In any case, an episode that makes people think and worries citizens.
