Shougang Ski Jump, also known as “Snow Feitian”, is located in the new Shougang Park in Shijingshan, Beijing. It is the only snow competition venue in the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics. It will take on the freestyle ski jump and the snowboard jump during the game. Two competition events. After the game, it will also become the world‘s first permanently reserved and used ski jump venue, open to the public.
Snowmaking is one of the important preparatory work before the official competition. The overall snowmaking volume is about 6,500 cubic meters. It is divided into four stages: snowmaking, snow storage, track construction and track maintenance. There are 8 professionals and 11 units. The top-level snowmaking equipment is coordinated to complete. As the snow machine sprays crystal snow and fog, the big platform at night is like a flying ribbon, shining brightly against the background of the landscape lighting.
