Promote the image and history of Feltre from a tourist point of view, involving children and young people to feel like ambassadors of the city’s cultural heritage.

A new three-year agreement that the Municipality has just signed with the flag-waving group of the city of Feltre goes in this direction.

“The administration had the intention of finding a partner with whom to stipulate a three-year agreement so that from now on to the next few years, aggregative activities with children and young people with links to the history and culture of Feltre could be realized”, explains the president of the city council with responsibility for associations, Manuel Sacchet. «A collaboration also aimed at promoting and developing the tourism sector. We are particularly happy that this notice was won by the Sbandieratori city of Feltre group, a historical association that has been operating in the city for more than forty years and has a really strong link with the city, with the Palio, but above all in recent years. of activity has always carried the name of Feltre all over Italy during his performances ».

The Feltre area is characterized by a historical and cultural richness that has been able to become over time the driving force of relevant activities and events, such as the Palio. These initiatives become opportunities for tourism promotion and enhancement but also moments of aggregation for citizens.

Starting from this assumption, the administration has decided to enter into an agreement with a voluntary and social promotion organization for the management of continuous aggregative activities with children and young people, aimed precisely at bringing young people closer to the history and culture of the territory, making them opportunities for meeting and socializing, also from a tourist point of view and in synergy with the events. The notice was published, to which the flag wavers group replied.

From an economic point of view, the Municipality of Feltre will provide a contribution that will be a maximum of 1,500 euros per year for three years. –
