Abusive exercise of the profession. Seizures for 200 thousand euros
(ANSA) – NAPLES, SEPTEMBER 28 – Six false dentists were denounced in the Neapolitan area by the Nas carabinieri for abusive exercise of the profession: The military, in the context of services arranged by the Carabinieri Command for the protection of health, inspected the municipalities of Naples, Gragnano, Agerola, Villaricca, Sant’Antonio Abate and Vico Equense, 6 dental offices in which there were as many dental technicians who carried out the activity of dentist, despite never having obtained the degree necessary for the exercise of the health profession.
During the inspections, the military questioned some patients in the clinics who confirmed that they had been examined and treated by the owners of the studios, trusting in their professionalism. Patients reported that they did not know the actual possession of the license to practice the medical art by the dental technicians.
Those responsible were reported for abusive exercise of the health profession and the dental rooms inside the medical offices complete with structures and radiographic equipment used illegally by dental technicians for a value of over 200 thousand euros were seized. (HANDLE).
