Slow-paced stability law: Ars approves only two articles

by admin

PALERMO – The examination of the financial maneuver is always proceeding at a snail’s pace. Today’s Ars session closed with only two articles approved, a very slow pace that confirms the government’s difficulties in carrying out the stability bill with a weakened majority. Faced with the intransigence of the oppositions and the divisions in the majority, the government has nothing left but to “negotiate”, so much so that the two approved articles (administrative simplification on training and rules on personnel) have passed with changes and rewrites requested in the classroom. In particular, the article on personnel is one of the points that the government is obliged to respect because it is contained in the agreement with the state on spreading the 1.7 billion euro deficit over ten years. Also on the art. 4 (provisions on the containment and rationalization of expenditure), this too is part of the agreement with the State, the government had to implement the changes requested by the classroom, in the end the councilor for the Economy Gaetano Armao undertook to rewrite the entire rule with a government amendment to be voted on next week. As anticipated informally in recent days, the president Gianfranco Miccichè, at the end, announced that from Monday the Assembly will meet in the morning and afternoon to try to speed up the work. The exam will resume on Monday at 11am.
