Three years ago the testamentary disposition of a former municipal employee of Sovramonte, a young couple will live in Servo
OVERWHELMING. Years after it was donated to the Municipality, now Servo’s house which consists of two separate housing units, both in good condition, has finally been awarded for 106 thousand euros to a young couple who will reside in the Sovramontino.
The news is given by the mayor of Sovramonte, Federico Dalla Torre, who in order to reach the notarial deed had to perfect some steps to liquidate the 5 percent legitimate to the direct heirs.
The donation took place in 2018 on the will of Guido D’Incau, for years employed by the Municipality, who died at the age of 90. The house donated to the Municipality is located on the provincial road of the Croce d’Aune pass; it has a garage and a garden and is well made. But for years there had been no offer for the purchase of the house of Guido D’Incau, donated to the Municipality with the restriction on the destination of the proceeds in favor of the furnishings of the Rsa di Sorriva.
We had started from an auction base of 160 thousand euros, for a property structured in two autonomous units and in good condition, so much so that one could immediately go to live there, but an agreed reduction of 106 thousand euros had to be made. This figure under which the Municipality would never have fallen, was made known by the executive Dalla Torre and by the mayor in the second term.
“We are not willing to further reductions because we are opposed to real estate speculation operations for which the next auction or better still a negotiation is expected”, was highlighted by the administration. Take or leave. So now a young couple has come forward, new life for a plateau where the scarecrow of depopulation is always present.
“The house has seen periodic maintenance by our team of workers to avoid degradation due to the fact that no one has lived there since 2018”, explains Mayor Dalla Torre. «The property consists of two separate apartments, now I don’t know how the buyers will want to renovate but they could live in it immediately if they wanted to. They will always be able to use the 110 percent bonus measure. But this cannot happen immediately since our town planning office is closed until February 28 due to a lack of professionals in charge. At the moment the office works only for public works. We are looking for a freelancer who comes to do us 18 hours a week ».
Meanwhile, for the residential announcement of which the municipality of Sovramonte is the leader at the provincial level and which consists in making annuities of border mutual funds available for the renovation of old inherited or purchased houses, as long as they become permanent homes to increase the mountain population, out of 36 applications, 14 were accepted. Most of them concern young couples.
