Introduced the obligation to use the helmet on the electric scooter

(ANSA) – MADRID, 02 DEC – Six points less on the driving license and no longer just three if you talk on the phone while driving; helmet compulsory for those who ride an electric scooter; alcohol level allowed equal to 0 for all minors authorized to drive any motor vehicle: these are some of the measures envisaged by a new law approved definitively by the Parliament in Spain. It is learned from official press releases and from the Iberian media.

The goal, explains a government statement, is “to reduce accidents” by improving the current law on the point driving license, considered “valid” to increase safety on the roads but in need of updates to be “more effective”.

Another of the measures introduced in the law is the prohibition of exceeding the speed limit of 20 kilometers per hour on a given road when overtaking. (HANDLE).
