Mogliano, the thieves fled on a BMW with a French license plate car identified by the military. Investigations in progress
MOGLIANO. Split at the Sinopoli jewelry store in Galleria Avogadro, jewels for tens of thousands of euros were stolen. On the night between Sunday and Monday, around four in the morning, unknown persons misrepresented in balaclavas entered the well-known jewelry store in Mogliano, broke the armored door and headed for the shop windows. Here they took away jewels, diamonds, pearls, but also many valuable watches.
The intervention of a military patrol from the Arma di Mogliano was timely, making it possible to intercept the car of the fleeing thieves, a BMW 5 series with French registration on which investigations are underway. During the escape, the car hit a traffic divider and was subsequently abandoned by the criminals with part of the stolen goods.
From a first reconstruction it seems that the thieves were two in addition to an accomplice who was waiting for them in the car.
