A 24-year-old boy, already known to the police, died this morning in the hospital in Barletta after being stabbed in the street last night. The stabbing, according to a first reconstruction by the carabinieri, took place at the end of a dispute that began near a room in Piazza Castello and then continued up to Piazza Duomo.
Transported to the hospital at the ‘Dimiccoli’, where he was found a single stab wound to the abdomen, the young man was transferred to resuscitation. Here he died at dawn. The carabinieri of the Barletta company investigate the murder, together with those of the investigative nucleus of the Bat provincial operational department.
