Stefano Mordini tells a scene from The Catholic School (Video)

by admin

“This scene creates the conditions for the tragic fate of Donatella Colasanti and Rosaria Lopez, victims of the Circeo massacre”, says in the video Stefano Mordini, director of The Catholic school. “Donatella’s smile on the dramatic background of The hill of cherry trees by Lucio Battisti is the synthesis of the film ”.

The film, inspired by the novel by Edoardo Albinati, tells the crime of Circeo starting from the cultural roots of the murderers who committed it: a Catholic school frequented by the Roman high bourgeoisie, where their parents had them study to keep them safe from political violence of the seventies. Edoardo, a student of the institute unrelated to the story, tries to understand what prompted them to make such a brutal gesture, between politics and the cult of violence.

The Commission for the classification of cinematographic works has decided, causing controversy, that the vision of the film is forbidden to minors under the age of 18.

Stefano Mordini is an Italian director. His latest films are let me go (2020), The infidels (2020) e The invisible witness (2018).
