STRAMBINO

The long socio-health crisis due to Covid-19, which later became an economic crisis, has produced serious problems, including survival, for many bar, restaurant and hospitality businesses. Some have managed to resist and relaunch themselves thanks to the choice of quality products and services offered to their customers. Among these, in Strambino there is the Enoteca I due Leoni in via Piemonte 16, in the heart of the historic village, which this year celebrates its first 20 years of activity. The owner Dario Leone, 53 years old, originally from Forno but living in Strambino for 25 years. He can celebrate with satisfaction the 20 years of his growing business which, despite the restrictions of the last year, he has managed to keep in good health: “We have never closed the shop of typical local products: food, wines, cheeses and cured meats of high quality, much appreciated by customers – explained Dario Leone – but unfortunately due to restrictions we had to close the part, which we have been open for 5 years, of the administration of food and drinks, also of quality, which we hope to be able to return soon to reopen. Our goal – added the owner of the Due Leoni – is to restart our complete business as soon as possible in the hope that this year too, as had been granted free of charge by the Municipality that I thank, we can soon reopen. the external dehors where we can return to serve aperitifs and tastings to our customers “.

Dario Leone, in addition to managing his business with increasing success, was from 2005 to 2012 president of the local trade association Commercio vivo, which in 2017 entrusted the presidency to Concetta Mancuso, owner of the Venere clothing store, struggling with negative side effects caused by Covid 19, like most of his Strambino colleagues. –
