Suoni di Marca, the party is here. The Treviso event starts with a bang

Many to attend the first evening: the concert by Batista Coco and Savana Funk. The initiatives on the Walls are confirmed as the favorite destination of Treviso people of all ages

TREVISO. Thanks to the practically free entrance (1 euro to support the activities of the exhibition) and the classic warm evening that always tempts you to go out, the start of the 32nd edition of Suoni di Marca, on 16 July on Murahas allowed the Treviso people to breathe the atmosphere of the old pre-pandemic times, or almost.

There were thousands of people along the classic promenade that leads from piazzale Burchiellati to the Bastioni di San Marco: families with children, teenagers or simply curious about Saturday nightamong the most loyal to the mask and others more “free”, have baptized the return of the pivotal event of the summer in the city center.

Gates open from 6pm, due to a slow tide that gradually increased over the course of the evening: the pleasant custom of “Path of Taste”, with the countless proposals of the restaurants and clubs moved on site for the next two weeks, next to the corner of local artisans, with many gift ideas for the home.

The walk with a view of the external Put and Viale d’Alviano, with the arrival of the first lights of the evening, the comfortable scent (and taste) of the food accompanied by the refreshing company of a cold beer allowed you to enjoy a Saturday in total relaxation. And then, the protagonist that can never be missing: music.

Shortly before dinner time, the folk lashes of the gods arrived on the secondary stage Caccianiga FGMD to launch the two sound protagonists of the SDM debut: departure with the Venetians Batisto Coco, icons of lagoon music who in “orchestra” mode with their Latin rhythms and dialectal speech have routed the evening on the tracks of joy, proposing a juice of their repertoire placing the accent on the songs of the new album “Oro Benon”.

To follow, the funk-rock-blues of Savana Funk: the Bolognese trio, star of the evening, created the right atmosphere to immerse themselves even more in the equatorial-like climate of mid-July. Jam session, instrumental freedom and love for music in its most varied influences are the coordinates followed by the group led by Aldo Betto. Closed on Saturday after the concert, again on stage no. 2, with the dj set curated by dj Avo.

Suoni di Marca continues tonight, July 17th, with the Salento rhythms of the Sud Sound System and their tradition, constantly enriched thanks to the mix of popular elements and sounds between taranta and dancehall, alongside the España Circo Este, between cumbia, reggae, pop, punk and tango (from 8 pm). Meanwhile, the wait is rising for Monday evening and one of the guaranteed sold out evenings: the List Representative will arrive in the city, to make the people of the festival dance to the rhythm of “Ciao ciao” and “Diva”.
