The continental football federation has “forgiven” nine of the 12 clubs that had given birth to the project, in exchange for their repentance (plus some economic sanctions), but for Barcelona, Ral Madrid and Juventus there is the specter of exclusion from the next Champions League League. Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United, Tottenham, Milan, Inter and Atletico Madrid have agreed to pay a total of 15 million euros and give up 5% of their European income for one season. These nine teams, quickly dissociated from the private “by invitation” competition launched the night between 18 and 19 April and wrecked within 48 hours, “recognized and accepted that the Super League project was a mistake”, explained the Uefa.
